Meetings this year will be held at Lynnewood Elementary, as well as other Havertown Township locations.
**We strive to meet both indoors and outdoors and to put together events in many different locations
to expose our Cub Scouts to new experiences.**
Most Dens will meet on Thursday evenings this year.
What are Dens?
Lion Den (Kindergarten)
Tiger Den (1st Grade)
Wolf Den (2nd Grade)
Bear Den (3rd Grade)
Webelos Den (4th Grade)
AOL Den (5th Grade)
*Webelos = "We'll Be Loyal Scouts"
*AOL = "Arrow of Light"
~ ~ How often do we meet? ~ ~
Den Meetings:
Each den (or grade level) has its own schedule after the Den Leader finds out the needs of the Cub Scouts in their den.
Our Pack likes to strive for at least 2 den meetings a month.
Cub Scouts are especially encouraged to attend their Den Meetings,
where most requirements for their rank and belt loops are worked on.
Pack Meetings:
Pack Meetings occur once a month.
This is where all the Dens come together to work on a common goal, or to participate in an activity all together.
Some examples of Pack Meetings:
Halloween Spook-O-Ree, Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold Celebration, STEM Fun, etc.
We encourage families to take part in Pack Meetings when they can.
*Award Ceremonies are also conducted during these meetings.
Pack Events:
We strive to provide at least one Pack Event each month. Some months will have more.
Cub Scouts can participate in whatever they're interested in,
and are definitely not mandated to attend every single event.
Please feel free to join in on whatever is doable for your family.
Examples of Pack Events:
Phillies Baseball Game, Earth Day Activities, Hikes, Service Projects, Sleep-In Events, etc.)
